7 games leave Game Pass this week

November giveth, and November taketh away. While we’ve welcomed some exciting new additions to Game Pass this month, it’s time to say farewell to a handful of titles.

In fact, there are no less than 7 games departing the service on November 15th, the vast majority of which are highly acclaimed. If you’ve had your eye on any of these, now’s the time to dive in and make the most of your remaining time with them. After that, you’ll be needing to open the wallet in order to play them.

Dicey Dungeons – Cloud, Console, and PC

Roll the dice and prepare for roguelike fun in Dicey Dungeons. This charming deck-building dungeon crawler offers a unique blend of strategy and luck as you battle your way through procedurally generated levels.

With a variety of character classes, each with their own unique playstyles, Dicey Dungeons offers plenty of replayability.

Want to know more about Dicey Dungeons? We ran an exclusive interview with Terry Cavanagh, the mastermind behind the game. Oh, and we’ve got a review too!

Dungeons 4 – Cloud, Console, and PC

We loved the chance to embrace our inner evil and build the ultimate dungeon in Dungeons 4.

This dungeon management sim lets you design intricate lairs, recruit monstrous minions, and defend your domain against pesky heroes. With its humorous take on the genre and engaging gameplay, Dungeons 4 is certainly going to appeal to fans of strategy and simulation games.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! – Cloud, Console, and PC

A couple of Like a Dragon games are removed from Game Pass this week. If you haven’t started playing either, then we would suspect the sheer number of hours required to get anything out of these games will mean you’re best leaving them alone. At least for now.

In Ishin! you’ll step into the shoes of Sakamoto Ryoma. Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a historical action-adventure set in 1860s Kyo. Experience a thrilling tale of samurai and revolution as you master sword fighting and gunplay in this unique entry in the Yakuza series.

Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name – Cloud, Console, and PC

Continue the story of Kazuma Kiryu in Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name.

This action-adventure RPG follows Kiryu as he attempts to leave his past behind and forge a new identity. With its engaging narrative and signature Yakuza action, The Man Who Erased His Name is a near must-play for fans of the series.

Persona 5 Tactica – Cloud, Console, and PC

There are multiple Persona games present on Game Pass, but this week we lose Persona 5 Tactica.

Experience the stylish world of Persona 5 in a whole new way with Persona 5 Tactica. This tactical RPG takes the Phantom Thieves on a new adventure, battling enemies with turn-based strategy and utilising their signature Personas.

With its vibrant art style and engaging gameplay, Persona 5 Tactica is a must-play for fans of the Persona series and tactical RPGs alike. Don’t believe us? You’ll want to get your eyes on our 5/5 review.

Somerville – Cloud, Console, and PC

A sci-fi adventure awaits in Somerville, a side-scrolling puzzle platformer set in a world facing an alien invasion.

Unravel the mysteries of the invasion, navigate treacherous landscapes, and solve environmental puzzles in this atmospheric and thought-provoking experience.

This is another that we’ll sorely miss, mostly as we loved Somerville in review

“Somerville is an important addition to our gaming diet. It’s not worried about pushing boundaries in terms of narrative structure or story, and never wants to guide the player too much, letting them find their own journey through a brilliant linear adventure.”

Goat Simulator – PC

And then there’s the removal of Goat Simulator on PC. We aren’t too bothered by this though, mostly as Goat Simulator Remastered has just hit Game Pass.

Whatever, this is a game that will let you cause chaos and wreak havoc as a goat. This physics-based sandbox game lets you unleash your inner goat, headbutting, licking, and ragdolling your way through an open world filled with unsuspecting victims and hilarious glitches.

But you knew that already, no?

What’s next for Game Pass?

After a busy last week, we’ve got Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to look forward to as an incoming drop. You’ll find that game popping up on November 19th – we’ll be sure to remind you when it arrives.

Until then, don’t miss your chance to experience these departing titles before they leave Game Pass on November 15th! And let us know which of the 7 you are going to miss the most.
