The vast majority of gamers would have played Tom Clancy’s The Division to death already. But for those who haven’t, well, an upcoming free-to-play weekend may just be enough to drag you in.
In place between May 4th and May 7th 2017, the free weekend for The Division will be open to all players on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In fact, console players get an extra few hours of free play as their offer doesn’t end until the morning of 8th May, as the weekend will actually run as follows, with you needing to add an extra hour if you’re UK based…
· Xbox One: 04/05 at 7AM UTC to 08/05 at 7AM UTC.
· PlayStation 4: 04/05 at 7AM UTC to 08/05 at 7AM UTC.
· Uplay PC: 04/05 at 5PM UTC to 07/05 at 8PM UTC.
Running alongside this free weekend there will also be a number of discounts on both the Standard and Gold Editions of The Division, something which is again in place across all formats. You’re favourite digital store will be able to sort you out with that when the time comes.
As is normally the case, all progress earnt across these days will be carried over to the full game should you wish to purchase it – so don’t worry about thinking it’s a waste of time playing, whilst the usual free trial which is currently in place (giving you six hours of playtime or a level 8 cap) will be put on hold.
If you haven’t yet played The Division, then we urge you to at least check it out this coming weekend. It’s a great game that drags you in and never lets go – and our full review is right here should you wish to check it out.
