Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy brings all the Lara Croft goodies you could ever want

Lara Croft – one of the most iconic of video game leads – took on a new lease of life when Square Enix rebooted her and the Tomb Raider series way back in 2013. Since that revamped Tomb Raider, we then had the opportunity to join Ms Croft on two further journeys in Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, with all three games providing enough quality to ensure this was a series you had to have in your life. If you missed them though, or are just looking to embark on a new adventure once more, then Lara has got your back once more with the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy.

The clue to what Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5 players are getting here is in the title as Square Enix go out to bring together pretty much everything any Tomb Raider or Lara Croft fan could want – three games, and a host of superb content in one easy to handle bundle.

Priced at £49.99 but discounted massively right down to £17.99 for a few weeks from launch, the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy combines the remastered first game, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, with Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Those three games alone will allow you the chance to take in the life of Lara across many adventures, many journeys, many falls, and many, many hours. In fact, as a combined unit they are likely to whisk you from this place to that multiple times, all as you harness your inner tomb raiding skills.

But that’s not all the Definitive Survivor Trilogy can deliver and an absolute ton of additional content that was previously available as paid DLC is also included. In no particular order, these are…

  • Apex Predator Pre-Order Pack
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Extra Content
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass
  • Advantage Pack
  • Challenge Pack
  • Gold Pack
  • Silver Pack
  • Wild Pack
  • Cold Darkness
  • Awakened Endurance Mode
  • 20 Year Celebration Pack
  • Ancient Vanguard
  • Prophet’s Legacy
  • Siberian Ranger
  • Valiant Explorer Pack
  • Wilderness Survivor
  • Apex Predator
  • Hope’s Bastion Pack
  • Remnant Resistance Pack
  • Sparrowhawk Pack
  • Tactical Survivor Pack
  • Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch

So yes, there’s a fair old whack of content included here.

We’ll admit we’d have loved to have seen Lara made over a little more with some Xbox Series X|S and PS5 optimised goodies, but nevertheless when the opportunity arises to take in three adventures with one of gaming’s best iconic of survivors, that opportunity shouldn’t be ignored. Especially when the entry price to such an event is so low.

You’ll find the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5, with the Xbox Store holding the key to any success on that format.

Let us know if you’lll be diving in to Lara’s life once more. The comments are below.

It is the Definitive Edition which, I think, bundles all the released DLC. In fact all 3 games are bundled in the same way so by buying the Definitive Survivor Trilogy you are getting all the content of all three reboot games. It’s a fantastic deal, especially while the launch offer price of £18 is active.
