Lunar Great Wall Studios’ fantastical game about a blind girl and her cat, Another Sight, was supposed to receive a console release last year, but it didn’t come to fruition. All hope is not lost though as Toplitz Productions have announced that they’ll be publishing it digitally in 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. They’ll also be handling the retail distribution on those platforms, including the PC version.
Another Sight is set to be a brilliant, emotionally driven, fantasy game that takes players into a surreal dream world, where they experience a story full of heart and character in the Victorian age of London. Kit, a blind but daring girl is guided by a mysterious red tabby cat, Hodge, and they must fight their way through an adventure full of unexpected events in a magnificent, enchanting world. Players will have to switch between the characters in order to make use of their unique talents, whilst also being able to see the world through two different viewpoints. It’s a warm tale of adventure that touches on trust, companionship and the idea of losing what many take for granted.
“We are pleased to add “Another Sight” to our portfolio and place the product in the international market. Lunar Great Wall Studios created a game that triggers strong emotions, offers a unique, captivating experience and allows many different levels of interpretation,” explains Stefan Berger, Business Development Toplitz Productions. “Another Sight adds a further game to our catalog that fits to our motto “Games with heart and soul” and will meet the spirit of the PC and console players.”
Whilst there’s no concrete date for the release of Another Sight on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch as of yet, other than it’s this year, be sure to keep an eye out and we’ll update you once we find out exactly when that is. If you can’t wait till then, be aware that it’s already released on Steam and so you could always just buy it there.
