Tony Hawk is back and today Activision have dropped a ton of new details regarding the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.
You will find below, a shed load of new screenshots, a behind the scenes trailer featuring footage and interviews from developer Robomodo, Tony himself and other in-game pros.
But the most exciting news of the lot is the release date. It’ll be coming to Xbox One and PS4 on Sept 29th 2015, with Xbox 360 and PS3 versions to follow at a later date…hopefully before the end of the year.
Additionally, you can pre-order the game now from GAME in the UK and if you do so, you’ll be able to check out a collection of digital content inspired by the decade when Tony Hawk forged his legend – the 1980’s. Aptly named the Totally Rad 80’s Pack, and it includes the following in-game items: 80’s Tony Hawk Character Skin (skate as Tony Hawk from circa 1986 in all modes), 80’s Inspired Birdhouse board, and an Anti-Gravity Board.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 promises to rekindles the signature style of classic Pro Skater games with brand new levels, daring objectives and some of the most fine tuned controls yet. New gen players will find an online multiplayer mode which lets them drop in and out of sessions with over 20 friends and challengers at one time, with missions, content and head-to-head match ups all available.
The Birdman is back, and things are looking very promising!
