Ever wanted to relax on your sofa at 125 MPH? You’ll be doing that very shortly as Train Sim World Founders Edition has been confirmed to arrive exclusively on Xbox One.
And you won’t have to wait very long either as Dovetail Games have today confirmed that it’ll be arriving at platform Xbox on 9th March 2018.
A first person train simulator (obviously), you’ll be given the opportunity to live out those train driving fantasies with a game that has been fully optimized for performance and playability, enabling you to quickly progress from learning the basics in accessible tutorials to confidently using the fully-functioning cab controls without any assistance.
With all trains powered by Unreal Engine 4 and Dovetail Games’ proprietary SimuGraph vehicle dynamics engine, expect to see real-world data used to accurately replicate the performance, sound and feel of real trains. It promises to ensure that all players can truly feel the detail as they explore the world and interact with the trains.
Train Sim World will feature different types of locomotives, allowing complete interactivity in the cab via an intuitive interface designed specially for the Xbox controller. That means that whether you are experiencing a full ‘day-in-the-life’, in Service Mode, which features a timetable based on real-world activities, or just hopping on and off a range of services as you carry out duties as either a driver or a passenger, Train Sim World will deliver… on time!
