BIOMORPH finally lands on Xbox

Lucid Dreams Studio is unleashing a new Metroidvania experience today, with the release of BIOMORPH on Xbox.

Available now on Xbox Series X|S (but not on Xbox One) for £16.74, this dark and atmospheric adventure invites players to explore a sprawling hand-drawn world, solve ingenious puzzles, and battle a menagerie of creatures with the unique ability to transform into the very enemies they defeat.

Become the Beast You Slay

BIOMORPH introduces a twist to the Metroidvania formula. As you explore the vast and interconnected world, you’ll encounter a variety of deadly creatures. Defeating these foes not only clears your path but also grants you the ability to take on their form, utilising their unique powers and abilities to overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, and access new areas.

However, be warned: every conquered creature can return with enhanced powers, creating a dynamic and challenging gameplay experience.

The world of BIOMORPH is a sprawling and interconnected labyrinth filled with secrets, challenges, and intriguing characters. Explore a variety of environments, from eerie caverns and ancient ruins to lush forests and forgotten cities. Uncover hidden paths, solve environmental puzzles, and collect valuable upgrades to enhance your abilities.

Rebuild and Befriend

Amidst your exploration, you’ll have the opportunity to rebuild the fallen city of Blightmoor. Befriend its quirky inhabitants, learn about their daily lives, and uncover the city’s rich history. Customise the city’s appearance to your liking, creating a unique and personalised haven within this mysterious world.

As you progress through BIOMORPH, you’ll uncover fragments of a forgotten civilisation and piece together the truth behind your own mysterious origins. The game’s narrative unfolds through exploration, environmental storytelling, and interactions with the world’s inhabitants, creating a captivating and enigmatic experience.

Key Features

  • Enemy Transformation: Defeat enemies and assume their forms to utilise their unique powers.
