just cause 4 toy vehicles

Just Cause 4 already allows access to a huge open world sandbox that is full of content, but today the toys you have to play around with are increasing in numbers with the arrival of two new content packs – the Toy Vehicle Pack and that of Los Demonios.

New DLC is always a welcome addition to any game but in Just Cause 4 that is even more true, if only because of the extra madness opportunities that they bring. Today, that madness comes in the form of a couple of content extras, which bring trials, toys and terror to the towns of Solis.

The first pack of note is the Toys Vehicle Pack. Available for a price of just £3.99, this includes a toy tanks with fully functioning turret, a toy bomber that has the firepower of a dragon, and a toy patrol boat which will let you take down the Black Hand forces with a homing mortar cannon.

What’s more, adding this pack into your game will see your foes coming equipped with their own toy vehicles for good measure, really building on the fun and frolics that Just Cause 4 brings.

“We wanted to follow-up the huge Spring Update for JUST CAUSE 4 with even more great new content for our players! The Trials, Toys & Terror update will add more new gameplay elements, new challenges, awesome new equipment and new reasons for players to return to the open world sandbox action all year long.” said Victoria Setian, Senior Producer at Avalanche Studios.

Further to that though is the introduction of the Los Demonios expansion which sees supernatural forces invading Solis. As you would expect, only Rico can save the day and as the parasitic infestation now spreads across the island, it is found terrorizing its inhabitants and attacking anyone that stands in its way. Los Demonios will challenge even the most experienced action hero.

“’Los Demonios’ is not only a return to the classic liberation style gameplay but also introduces a supernatural threat to the world for the first time in “JUST CAUSE” said Bryan Rodriguez, Creative Producer at Avalanche Studios. “Players will face the most challenging content yet in ‘Los Demonios’, pushing them to their limits in both combat strategy and survival. Even veteran players will need to bring their A-game if they want to succeed in tackling the emerging demonic presence and protect Solis from total annihilation! Prepare your weapons and your wits, as ‘Los Demonios’ will be an off-the-wall experience Just Cause players will not soon forget!”

But the goodies don’t stop there and the Free Challenges update arrives as well to bring new ways to play in through the open world sandbox. Every month, players will be able to earn cosmetic rewards for their wingsuit and parachute by completing inventive new Challenges & Trials that will test the limits of their mastery over Rico’s skills & gear. And with freebies in mind, you can also turn back the clock with the clean cut Just Cause 2 Rico skin, available now in the customization menu and free for all players.

Sounds good eh? Well, the Toy Vehicle Pack can be grabbed right now from the Xbox Store (or other stores if you’re playing elsewhere), whilst the Los Demonios expansion is currently only available to those who have purchased the £24.99 Expansion Pass or Gold Edition of the game. It’ll arrive as a separate purchase come July 3rd.

However you play Just Cause 4 though, chances are you won’t be able to turn down these latest fun bringers!
