Turok 2: Seeds of Evil accompanies the re-release of Turok on Xbox One

-

After the events of the original Turok, which has also been released on Xbox One today, the time-travelling warrior Turok will face a new threat as he attempts to tidy up the mess The Campaigner caused.

If you know anything about Turok you will know the dinosaurs take centre stage – and this is true with the sequel as a load of the beasts will have to be taken down if you want to get through Seeds of Evil in one piece. What’s more, the enemies are intelligent enough to assess the situation and attack in packs, flee from battle or even take cover – as if you needed your job to be that bit harder.

The weird and wonderful weapons that Turok is famous for are making a return as well, including the iconic but quite frankly messy Cerebral Bore, as well as the Shredder complete with ricocheting shotgun shells.

But when you are done with playing through the six quest levels in the campaign, then don’t worry as the added multiplayer mode will treat you and some friends to the best levels and weapons from both the N64 and PC releases of the game for a fun experience.

As with Turok on Xbox One, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be given a visual makeover for its appearance on the big stage.

If you fancy picking up Turok 2: Seeds of Evil on Xbox One then head over to the Microsoft Store where a £15.99 purchase will see the game sitting pretty on your virtual shelf.

Game Description:

Having defeated the Campaigner, Turok throws the Chronocepter into a waiting volcano to destroy it. Unfortunately the blast awakens an even deadlier force – The Primagen. Once again a Turok is tasked with restoring peace to the land and stopping the Primagen from merging Earth with the nether world. The Dinosaur Hunter Returns Fight your way through 35 different types of enemies with bouncing bellies, blinking eyes, stretching tentacles and snapping jaws. From Prehistoric Raptors, to evolved Flesh Eaters, to your final battle with the Mother of all beasts— you’ll want to defeat all of them! Enemies are intelligent! They’re smart enough to attack in groups, to flee when they are outgunned, and to take cover during a firefight. Enemies flinch and spasm differently depending on which body part you hit. Remastered Locations Conquer 6 engrossing Quest Levels including the Port of Adia, the Death Marshes and the Lair of the Blind Ones. Over 20 Weapons Unload multiple ricocheting shotgun shells with the Shredder. Send brains flying with the skull-drilling Cerebral Bore, a fan favorite. Stomp enemies flat while riding an artillery-mounted Triceratops! New Multiplayer The new Multiplayer mode lets you battle with your friends. Using the best levels, weapons, and visuals from both the PC and Nintendo 64 versions, players will encounter a fun and visceral multiplayer experience. Players can also choose between a few skins for their character in combat.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
