Back in October 2017, Real Farm arrived on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, threatening to shake up the farming simulation market like never before. After delivering some great visuals and a career mode that let you get on with farming glory, if you were in the market for a farming sim, then it was worth checking out. Now though, after being hit with updates and fixes over the last couple of months, Real Farm is getting itself some DLC – and it’ll be free!
SOEDESCO have today announced that the first two pieces of DLC for Real Farm on Xbox One, PS4 and PC – the Potato pack and the Grünes Tal map – will arrive at launch for free. With them introducing one of the most popular crops in the world, and a free map to grow them in, it could well be the boost needed for us gamers to head back down to the farm.
Edit: It has now been confirmed that these packs will be arriving come March 2nd 2018.
Full details of each pack are below. As is a trailer. Make sure you hit it up.
Potato Pack DLC:
The Potato pack offers everything players need to grow one of the most popular crops in the world: potatoes. The pack contains two new harvesters: the Rival PH-4 and the Rival PH-4X. Next to that there’s five new attachments, to help players sow, level and cultivate their fields and three new jobs in career mode for players to complete. To top it off, this permanently free pack also brings three fun vehicles to the game: The Ebon Q-Bike, the Hercules Sports GT and the Ebon Sports UV. All these additions are the result of conversations held between SOEDESCO and the community.
Grünes Tal map DLC:
This map DLC takes players to a Western European inspired valley called Grünes Tal. Players get to experience its lush forests, verdant hills and picturesque towns all free of charge for those who own Real Farm before the DLC launches. After that, the DLC costs €9,99/$9.99. On Steam, Real Farm players automatically receive the Grünes Tal map DLC once it launches. It will become a paid DLC for players who buy Real Farm after the DLC’s launch. On PlayStation4 and Xbox One, the map is free to download for 7 days after launch and becomes a paid DLC after that period.
