There have been a couple of new announcements from Bandai Namco regarding their upcoming anime and manga fighting game Jump Force, including news of two more characters that are set to be a part of the roster.
With Goku, Frieza and Vegeta already revealed for Jump Force, Dragon Ball fans have even more reason to get excited as two other major characters are joining them. The first of those is Cell, a ‘perfect warrior’ genetically designed to posses the traits of Earth’s greatest fighters and be a cut above the rest. The other is Piccolo, who started out as one of Goku’s sworn enemies, but then became arguably one of his closest allies and fights alongside him in order to protect the world from potential threats.
We’ve also found out more details about the avatar creation mode, which will allow players to use costumes and items from all the franchises featured in Jump Force, thus providing them with the necessary tools to create thousands of unique possibilities whilst attempting to attain the perfect avatar.
As of today, three digital versions of the game are available to pre-order on Xbox One and PC (PlayStation 4 pre-orders go live from this Friday 23rd November):
- The Standard Edition
- The Deluxe Edition – features the standard game as well as the characters pass – providing a further nine new DLC characters released post-launch, as well as four days early-access to each DLC.
- The Ultimate Edition – contains all of the above, plus 16 additional t-shirts for your in-game avatar, a starter pack containing additional items and boosts as well as three days of early access to the full game before anyone else!
Those who do pre-order any of the above versions will also receive one additional lobby vehicle and three exclusive avatar costumes to use in-game. Don’t forget, Jump Force launches on 15th February, 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC!
