Once more that Game Pass subscription comes into its own, as two new games arrive on the service – one of which is absolutely a must-player.
If you have a Game Pass subscription to hand, then in recent times you’ll have been treated to some cracking new games. It was just last week that we welcomed the brilliant Sifu and Open Roads to the free-to-play world of a Game Pass subscription, accompanied by that of MLB The Show 24. And now? Well, a couple more games land.
This week sees the introduction of Mad Streets and Inscryption to Game Pass. If you only play one of those games, make sure it is the latter – we didn’t give it a 5/5 review score when it launched in 2023 for nothing, you know.
Mad Streets (Hits Game Pass, 7th Oct)
Get ready to rumble! Mad Streets, the physics-based party brawler, is bringing its chaotic energy to Game Pass. Originally released on Xbox in 2021, this hilarious beat ’em up lets you unleash your inner fighter with over-the-top, physics-driven combat.
Turn everyday objects and even your friends into weapons as you battle rival gangs across Gutsford University. With its unique blend of fighting and slapstick comedy, Mad Streets will suit or parties or solo play as you master the art of the face-crunching KO and leave your opponents seeing stars.
Whether you’re brawling with friends or taking on the challenge alone, Mad Streets promises a reasonably fun experience.
Download Mad Streets through the Xbox Store and Game Pass from October 7th.
Inscryption (Landing on Game Pass come 10th Oct)
Inscryption is a chilling and unique card game odyssey. It first released on Xbox back in 2023, and but now comes to Game Pass. Prepare for a dark and twisted journey that blends deckbuilding, escape-room puzzles, and psychological horror.
You’ll build a deck of unusual woodland creature cards through unconventional means like surgery and self-mutilation, all while trying to escape a sinister cabin and uncover its secrets. Inscryption promises an unsettling and deeply disturbing experience, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on edge.
If you’re looking for a truly unique and disturbing game, Inscryption is worth checking out. In fact, we gave it 5/5 in review.
You’ll find Inscryption present on Cloud, Console, and PC, available through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Standard. Let us point you to the Xbox Store page.
Next for Game Pass?
There are more changes occurring in the Game Pass world in the very near future.
In fact, come October 15th we’ll see the usual mid-month removal of a good few games – Dyson Sphere Program (PC), Everspace 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC), From Space (Cloud, Console, and PC), F1 Manager 2023 (Cloud, Console, and PC), Scorn (Cloud, Console, and PC).
Don’t worry about those games moving out though. Just go and play Inscryption right now! Thank us later…
