Two Strikes – out now!

The intense, hand-drawn 2D fighting game, Two Strikes, has officially left the Early Access dojo and launched in full, on Xbox, PC, PlayStation and Switch.

This highly anticipated sequel to One Strike brings its swift and deadly duels to PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Developed by a perilous team of three at Retro Reactor Games and published digitally by Entalto Publishing, you can grab it now for around £16.74.

A Cut Above: Vengeance in the Sengoku Period

Thrusting players back into a blood-soaked 16th-century Sengoku Period Japan, Two Strikes is all about high-stakes 1v1 battles where the only options are to kill or be killed.

Fearless Samurai, stoic warrior monks, cunning outlaws, and determined peasants must all raise their weapons. Eight legendary fighters, each boasting unique fighting styles and a pure lust for vengeance (or glory), have one final chance to unleash carnage and become the next Champion of the God of Death.

The artistry of Japan collides with brutal, decisive combat. Victory commands absolute precision. You’ll need to perfect your blocks, outwit opponents by masking your intentions and feigning attacks with nimble dashes, and deliver that single, devastating final strike when victory is within reach. Remember, one stroke of the blade could spell doom or glory!

Master the Blade: Precision & Deception

Two Strikes delivers an electrifying rush where duels are decided in a heartbeat.

  • Strategic Positioning: Every move could be your last. Dart around to close in or evade assaults, seizing the opportunity when foes are within your weapon’s grasp.
  • Outwit Your Adversary: Striking decisively is your path to triumph, but predictable moves are easily thwarted. Mask your intentions and feign attacks to create openings.
  • Devastating Strikes: When victory is within sight, unleash powerful attacks to claim your honor and end the duel.

Crossed Swords, Across Platforms

The battlefield has expanded! Two Strikes allows budding Samurai to test their mettle against rivals in thrilling clashes regardless of their hardware, extending the reach of its duels.

Alongside the competitive multiplayer, a variety of engaging single-player modes are also available to hone your skills.

Having already garnered “Very Positive” reviews during its time in Steam Early Access, Two Strikes now brings its complete, polished experience to a wider audience.

For collectors, Perp Games is also releasing a physical PlayStation 5 limited edition for £24.99 / €29.99, which includes exclusive posters and an invitation to the prestigious ‘Tournament of the Souls’.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
