Done with Unity? Dealt a blow to the Rogue? You’ll want to hear more about the latest Assassin’s Creed title… Syndicate! Check out the trailer and screenshots.
Ubisoft have today announced that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will appear on Xbox One and PS4 come October 23rd 2015. It’ll also release on PC some time in the autumn.
Syndicate will bring us an epic single player experience set in London during the height of the Industrial Revolution. Taking on the roles of twin Assassins, Jacob Frye and Evie Frye, you’ll take the duo on to challenge rivals, plutocrats and Templars alike to free the masses from poverty and corruption, and, ultimately, wrestle back control of London.
With the largest most modern open world city ever created in an AC game, the fighting will be more brutal than ever as rival gangs square up with brass knuckles, a kukri knife, a revolver and the Assassin’s gauntlet. Syndicate will feature an innovative navigation and transportation system throughout the open world, including a rope launcher for scaling tall Victorian buildings, zip-lining from rooftop to rooftop or performing aerial assassinations, and horse-drawn carriages and high-speed trains for free-running, tracking down enemies or escaping after daring raids.
“The ability to lead an underground gang, commandeer any vehicle on hand and use modern tools to take on an expansive and fast-paced Victorian London sets this game apart,” said Marc-Alexis Côté, Creative Director at Ubisoft. “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been in development for more than two years and this new modern take on the living open world will please Assassin’s Creed fans and newcomers alike.”
We’ll obviously bring you as much as possible between now and release but if you want further details regarding the special editions, check out the Uplay store.
