CybeRage
CybeRage – available on Xbox Play Anywhere

A secret mission to an abandoned planet infested by a hostile, ever-growing threat has just been declassified, as a new cyberpunk roguelite blasts its way onto Xbox and PC in the form of CybeRage.

CybeRage has launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. It comes from YABAI.GAMES and is available right now for £4.19, with a limited-time launch discount bringing the price down to just £3.35.

Prepare to dive into the depths of a nasty bug infestation, strengthen your arsenal with cybernetic enchantments, and find the heart of the hive to save the cyber age from impending doom, all with full Xbox Play Anywhere support.

A Secret Mission Against the Hive

In CybeRage, you play as Phy, a secret agent who embarks on a perilous mission to an abandoned planet. This world has been completely overrun by a hostile hivemind, and with the help of her partner Lizz and General Eral, she must learn the dark truth behind its origins and put an end to the ever-growing threat.

This is a game about building the perfect bug-killing machine. You’ll have access to a high-tech arsenal that includes 10 different fighter drones that can be upgraded and evolved, and 5 powerful swords, each with its own unique active ability. You can choose to shoot the hordes down from a distance or get up close and personal, slashing them to pieces.

Roguelite Progression

As you kill hordes of nasty bugs across 19 hand-crafted cyberpunk levels, you’ll gain experience that can be used to strengthen your body and your gear with powerful cybernetic enchantments.

The game features a deep roguelite progression system with unlockable permanent augments, ensuring that even in failure, you’re always getting stronger for your next run.

Expand Your Mission with New Metro Lines

The fight against the hive doesn’t stop with the base game. Three DLC packs are also available at launch for £2.49 each, opening up new metro lines with their own unique stories and challenges.

  • Green Line: An easy-difficulty line with 5 new stations, a new drone (Vetter), and a new sword (Stun Baton).
  • Orange Line: A medium-difficulty line with 5 new stations, a new drone (BL-00NY), and a new sword (Thor).
  • Red Line: A hard-difficulty line with 5 new stations, a new drone (Gravity Crane), and a new sword (Jetstream).

Your Mission, Your Platform

CybeRage is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, which means your secret mission against the hivemind can be undertaken on any of your supported devices.

When you buy the game digitally from the Xbox Store, your purchase unlocks it on both your Xbox console and your Windows PC. All of your unlocked augments, story progress, and achievements are synced via the cloud, so you can seamlessly switch between platforms.

You can clear a few levels on your PC, then jump over to your Xbox to take on the boss without ever losing your cybernetic edge. And with the upcoming Xbox Ally X, that play anywhere vibe will open up even more.

Key Features

  • Cyberpunk Roguelite Action: Accompany Phy on her quest to find the heart of a hostile hivemind.
  • High-Tech Arsenal: Wield 10 upgradeable fighter drones and 5 powerful swords with unique active abilities.
  • Deep Rogue-lite Progression: Unlock permanent augments and strengthen yourself with cybernetic enchantments.

  • Three Major DLC Packs: Expand your adventure with new story content, weapons, and challenges.
  • Xbox Play Anywhere Enabled: Buy once and continue your mission on both Xbox and Windows PC.

The hive is adapting and the threat is growing stronger. If you’re a fan of action-packed roguelites with deep progression and a cool cyberpunk setting, CybeRage is waiting for your deployment on the Xbox Store right now.

Will you help Phy save the cyber age?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
