November is here and that means we’re fast running out of new Xbox One and Xbox 360 games to release in 2015. But don’t despair, for after a busy couple of months, we’ve still got a fair few left to take a look at with the next 4 weeks or so seeing many a decent (and a few not-so-decent) arriving on our shelves.
Need For Speed – Xbox One
If you are a holder of the EA Access pass, then you’ll no doubt know all about the rebooted Need For Speed by now. If you aren’t though, then you can be sure that EA and Ghost Games will be treating you to a cinematic racing experience like no other. Dropping into the underground urban racing scene, Need For Speed will give you the chance to race your favourite cars round mean streets, pitting your wits and driving skills against all manner of driver in a campaign not shy of a video sequence and a multiplayer offering that brings gamers around the world together as one. Just make sure you avoid those darn cops…the fines are pretty steep!
Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations – Xbox 360 and Xbox One
It’s time to crack a case as Finn and Jake take on an action twisted story driven adventure. Disappearances and strange events have best the Land of Ooo and it’s up to the brothers to sleuth their way through numerous cases, each playing out as a separate story just like an episode of the hit show.
The lads will bump into the likes of BMO, Abracadaniel, Lumpy Space Princess, Ice King, Gunter, Magic Man, Lemongrab, Tree Trunks, Starchy and more as they solve puzzles, explore secret locations and take on evil doers in a fair bit of fast paced but fairly simple combat.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops III – Xbox One & Xbox 360
You may have heard of this little Call of Duty thing. If you’re really down with the kids, then you’ll have been savvy to the Black Ops side of things too. Well guess what, Call of Duty Black Ops is back…this time with number 3, or III as Activision and Treyarch would prefer us to call it.
Prepare to enter a twisted future world where a whole new breed of soldiers lays, where lines are blurred between humanity and technology and a world where military robots rule the roost. Welcome to Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
You should already at least half know what to expect as whether you take on the campaign, battle it out in the class leading multiplayer modes or fight to the death against the undead in Zombies, it’ll be more Call of Duty, all ramped up to the nth degree one more time.
Yes, it’ll be brilliant. Don’t listen to the haters!
Snoopy’s Grand Adventure – Xbox One and Xbox 360
A side scroller featuring the gang from Charles M. Schulz’ famous Peanuts comic strip, Snoopy will be celebrating his 65th anniversary with his Grand Adventure. Running alongside The Peanuts movie, Snoopy’s Grand Adventure should be a simple enough romp through his daydreams as something that all ages can just pick up and play.
Or at least that’s what Activision hope for. If truth be told, we do too!
Fallout 4 – Xbox One
It take a lot for Bethesda to fail at anything and odds are Fallout 4 will arrive with aplomb, deserve the hype that it’s been getting and suck you in forever more.
You see Bethesda don’t do ‘small’ and after Fallout 3 and Skyrim, have promised their most ambitious game to date with Fallout 4. Surely the latest generation consoles will be more than capable of handling their promises, coping with a stupidly large dialogue system and allowing for crafting like never before?
Get ready to leave Vault 111 and enter a world ravaged by nuclear war. How you rebuild it is completely up to you!
Rise Of The Tomb Raider – Xbox One & Xbox 360
Lara is back with the next chapter of his remarkable journey as she pushes his survival skills, wits and limits in order to overcome the trials and tribulations that are set out in front of her. Ms. Croft is quite quickly turning into a bit of a no-messing killing machine, so expect plenty of battles, a ton of puzzles and some of the best action adventuring Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics can muster up.
Oh, and prepare for Lara to die. Lots.
Game of Thrones : A Telltale Games Series Season Pass Disc – Xbox One and Xbox 360
If you’re not overly happy with splashing the cash on digital downloads, preferring to have something physical in your hand, then you should be looking out for the Season Pass disc for Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series.
Dropping on both Xbox One and Xbox 360, you’ll get to listen in and shape the tale of House Forrester as they get caught up in the events surrounding the War of the Five Kings.
With the chance to play as the different members of the Forrester household, it will be your decisions that are vital to whether both they, and you, win…or die!
Barbie And Her Sisters: Puppy Rescue – Xbox 360
Now this one is a little out of our comfort zone so bear with us as we hazard a guess that Barbie (and quite possibly her sisters) are out on a bit of a puppy rescue.
Clues will need to be solved and puppies will need to rescued with Barbie and the gang needing to step up to the plate in order to teach young dogs new tricks.
We’re guessing there isn’t much blood. Or sweat. Or quite possibly tears. In fact, it should all be rather colourful and lovely. We’ll let you make your own mind up on this one though.
Professional Farmer 2016 – Xbox One
You may have had the pleasure of grabbing the wellies and going on down to the farm with Farming Simulator 15 recently. Well, if that wasn’t of a high enough calibre for your liking, then perhaps it’ll be best to go down the professional route with Professional Farmer 2016.
The countryside is your playground as you get the chance to grab your favourite tractor and take it out onto the field for a hard day’s work. With differing seasons, a full career mode and ‘dynamic field management’, you too can live the farming dream!
Star Wars Battlefront – Xbox One
For many, the chance to participate in the recent Star Wars Battlefront beta on Xbox One was too good to turn down. Many would have been pretty blown away, whilst others would be pointing to a reskined Battlefield that is aiming to benefit from the Star Wars name. Us? We can’t wait to get involved for real when the battle goes live for real.
Star Wars Battlefront promises to be one of the best Star Wars titles the galaxy has ever seen. Let’s just hope it turns out that way.
Kung Fu Panda: Showdown Of Legendary Legends – Xbox One and Xbox 360
Hitting both Xbox One and Xbox 360, the latest Kung Fu Panda title, Showdown of Legendary Legends may be vying for the world’s longest ever title but if you’re a fan of Po, Tigress, Monkey, Tai Lung and Master Shifu then you won’t be caring too much other the title length!
What you will be caring for however is that KFP: SoLL will come good with a brawler that takes you through some of the most iconic locations from the Kung Fu Panda films, giving you the chance to compete in a single player campaign and a number of both local and online multiplayer modes.
With a couple of dozen playable characters, multiple level types and a ton of unique fighting styles, Will SoLL be the best Kung Fu Panda title to date? We’re hedging our bets on that being the case!
Monster High: New Ghoul In School – Xbox 360
One that has gone a bit under the radar in TXH Towers, Monster High: New Ghoul In School will give you the chance to get to know your new classmates, join clubs, make friends and dress up like never before! But be aware for something weird is going on at Monster High and it’ll be up to you to help save the school and your friends from the mummy’s curse.
Not necessarily one for the hardcore gamers but who are we to judge!
So which games will you be picking up this month? Let us know in the comments below or give us a shout on the usual social media channels.
I’m an FPS player trough and through so obviously they are always first on my list. Need for speed Is not bad I’m about 2-3 hours into it, but it’s not something I’d buy until seen half price around Xmas time.
With out a doubt. Star Wars Battlefront, and Black Ops 3, possible Fallout 4.
I’ve got little interest in any of those Darren, especially Fallout 4. No doubting they’ll all be good but not my type of thing. I will however be grabbing Need For Speed and fancy a little look at Snoopy.
