Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be coming from Ubisoft at the end of June but before that you’ll watch to check out the developer diaries they have in store, the first of which has just been released.
‘Art & Emotion’ gives you an idea of where the art style came from and why there has been so much emotion put into the game. Using the same UbiArt style as previous Ubisoft titles, you’ll hopefully get to revisit the war inside out from the perspective of those characters unwillingly thrust into the great war.
Valiant Hearts: The Great War is an animated comic book adventure telling the story of crossed destinies and broken love in a world torn apart. With a mix of exploration, action and puzzles, you’ll be set to help your heroes survive the Great War…all with the help of a trusty canine companion and all while visiting famous WW1 locations like Reims or Montfaucon, revisiting historical battles on the Western Front, such as the Battle of the Marne or the Battle of the Somme.
Will it be the first game to bring a tear to your eye? Ubisoft think so and you’ll be able to find out when it releases on xbox 360 and Xbox One on June 25th.
