Valve and Headup Games combine to bring us Bridge Constructor Portal

-

2026's Best Games

What happens when you combine the puzzling elements of Bridge Constructor with the even more puzzling elements of Portal? Well, you get Bridge Constructor Portal of course.

Announced today by Headup Games, Bridge Constructor Portal will send you off on another adventure to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment center in order to test some new vehicular based test chambers.

Coming to PC, mobile and console, Bridge Constructor Portal sees ClockStone Software, Headup Games and Valve join forces in order to make the most puzzling game ever created. Fully embracing the Portal license, the stand-alone title will see you blending the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.

Bridge Constructor Portal will be released on December 20 2017 for Windows, MacOS and Linux and mobile devices. The console versions – Xbox One, PS4 and Switch – will follow in early 2018.

For now, an announcement trailer is right below however if you wish to know more about the Bridge Constructor series, then you could do worse than check out our reviews of the original game, and the Stunts variation.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.

Looks cool. Might just pick this up on the Switch as it would be the perfect game to pick up and play for short bursts when mobile.
