We’ve been to Colorado in the USA, we’ve travelled down to Southern France and we’ve raced around the outback of Australia. Hell, we’ve even got behind the wheel and taken in the length and breadth of the UK with Forza Horizon 4. Now though, it’s time to head to Mexico as Forza Horizon 5 has arrived – and this isn’t just one of the most hotly anticipated games of November 2021, it’s one of the hottest of the year.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Early Access given about through the Premium Edition, Forza Horizon 5 promises to be the best, the biggest, and the brightest Forza Horizon yet. And if you can’t stretch to that Premium offering, the fact that it’s rolling out on Xbox Game Pass come November 9th just makes it even more tempting.
So what have we got? Well, Forza Horizon 5 takes us to Mexico as we get behind the wheel of hundreds of the finest cars in the world. From there, it’s pretty much your oyster, as you get to go wherever you like, whenever you want, however you fancy. Set as an open world racer in which Mexico is the only confine, Forza Horizon 5 promises to be nothing short of breathtaking. And yes, whilst our full review isn’t quite here yet, from hands-on, we’re well set to deliver a must-play verdict.
The Premium Edition is the biggest and best value for Forza Horizon fans, with FH5 Premium Edition costing £89.99. Lots of money, yes, but you get access to the base game well ahead of street release, you get the added Expansion One and Expansion Two further down the line and an extra 42 cars via the Car Pass – with these being drip-fed out on a weekly basis.
You can also include a Welcome Pack that brings 5 special tuned mobiles, a Player House and the chance to take in one car from the Autoshow. Throw in some clothing items and the Welcome Pack is certainly, um, welcome.
That’s not all though, and for those coughing up for the Premium Edition, you’ll find VIP membership included too. This means you get access to 3 Exclusive Forza Edition cars, Crown Flair, Vanity Items, Emote and Car Horn, gift Player House, 2x Credit race rewards, weekly bonus Super Wheelspins, and more.
If you feel that the Premium Edition is a little out of reach, then there’s the Deluxe Edition too. That brings together the base game and the Car Pass for £69.99, whilst the Standard Edition will cost just £54.99 – but it’s this one that is also available through Game Pass.
In all, it’s not just Mexico that offers a wide range of value for Forza Horizon 5 players, it’s the editions themselves too. Let us know which version you get.
Keep an eye out for our full review of Forza Horizon 5 on Xbox Series X|S too. It’s coming very soon.
