The latest in a long line of titles published by Ratalaika Games is Gardener’s Path – a unique take on the top-down genre by adding turn-based and puzzler elements to the mix. In a garden dominated by huge insects and other monsters, you must pull on your gardening gloves, grab your trowel, and battle these hordes to protect loved ones. Simple!
Available right now on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles, in Gardener’s Path you will be expected to make use of a whole host of plants and power-ups to fight back against the creepy-crawlies invading your patch.
Where the puzzle element comes into play is that your sprite can only move in one of the four cardinal directions, and will only stop when you hit an obstacle, be that enemy or wall. Careful planning is therefore required with regards to the optimal path to take to hit all of your foes, clearing the level and allowing you to progress to the next of the 60 available.
