It’s pretty obvious just from the title what The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos – Chicken Edition brings to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Nintendo Switch – wackiness.

Created by the Dear Villagers team, The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos – Chicken Edition comes to consoles following a pretty damn brilliant launch on Steam back in 2020. In fact, in the months that have proceeded from that release, the review ratings over on the PC’s favourite store have been more than positive, with The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos racking up a huge number of Very Positive remarks.

Now though it’s all about the Chicken Edition and as The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos hits console a whole new wave of player will get the opportunity to dive headlong into the tactical RPG goodness that the Dear Villagers team have created.

But what is it? Well, it’s a game in which you get the chance to take on the role of some of the most classic of role-players, working through the character classes like there is no tomorrow. The Ranger is present, as is the Elf, the Dwarf, a Barbarian and Magician with both an Ogre and a Thief rounding out the roster. As you would expect, each of these comes with their own skill tree, abilities and equipment types and so the character you choose could well have a decent impact on your adventure ahead.

Once in The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos – Chicken Edition you’ll find a turn-based battle system, adaptive difficulty, a bestiary that contains info on more than 100 different enemies, some seriously epic boss battles and the chance to head on out and destroy anything that moves – and a ton of stuff that doesn’t.

It’s the dungeon crawling that will be at the heart of The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos – Chicken Edition, but trap dodging, puzzle solving, conversation partaking and more will all await the most intrepid of adventurer. If that is you and you fancy the chance to take in a new RPG that is full of charm and humour, or loved playing it on PC and can’t resist the lure of a console release, you’re pretty much sorted here.

You’ll find The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos – Chicken Edition present on the usual stores of Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, with the Xbox Store giving up the download secrets for an asking price of £37.49.

We’re most certainly looking to embark on this journey ourselves so keep an eye out for our full review of The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos – Chicken Edition on Xbox as and when it drops.

Game Description:

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
