Back in 2023, Wall World landed on Xbox with one of the more unusual premises we’d seen – piloting a giant robospider across an endless vertical wall, mining for resources while fending off relentless waves of monsters. It was strange, addictive and unlike much else on the store.
Now, Wall World 2 has arrived to expand on that idea, bringing bigger mines, tougher enemies and even more reasons to keep descending into the unknown.
Launching right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC with Xbox Play Anywhere support, Wall World 2 is available for ÂŁ11.74.

Back To The Wall
If you played the original, you’ll already know the routine – although this time there’s much more waiting beneath the surface.
Once again you’ll take command of your trusty robospider, scaling the colossal Wall in search of valuable resources hidden inside procedurally generated mines. Every expedition becomes a balancing act between digging deeper for better rewards and getting back to defend yourself before another monster assault begins.
The sequel doesn’t simply recycle the original’s ideas either. New biomes introduce fresh environmental hazards, while strange anomalies can either become your greatest ally or completely derail a promising expedition. Monsters are no longer confined to attacking the surface either, as danger now lurks inside the mines themselves.
Combat has also expanded, with more weapons, abilities and upgrades available for both your exosuit and the robospider itself. Between expeditions you’ll return to Sphere City, meeting new characters and investing resources into increasingly powerful equipment before heading back into the Wall once again.
As before, progression comes through experimentation, gradually unlocking new technologies and discovering more about the mysterious world you’re exploring.
A Welcome Return To One Of Xbox’s More Unique Indies
When we covered the original Wall World back in 2023, it immediately stood out thanks to its unusual blend of mining, base defence and roguelite progression. Wall World 2 looks set to build on that foundation rather than reinvent it, offering more content, deeper progression systems and even greater mysteries hidden within the endless Wall itself.
If you enjoyed the first game – or simply fancy trying something that feels a little different from the usual roguelite formula – this sequel looks well worth investigating.
Wall World 2 is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC with Xbox Play Anywhere support, priced at ÂŁ11.74. Take a trip to the Xbox Store and pick up a copy.
