The Swindle will soon be sneaking and hacking its way to consoles. Fancy taking a little look?

Size Five Games and Curve Digital have announced that they are bringing their Steampunk stealth title, The Swindle to consoles from July 28th 2015.

A platforming, action stealth game set in a Victorian Steampunk world, The Swindle takes players on a journey as a master thief, breaking into buildings, stealing cash and hacking systems, before making good their escape from the procedurally generated levels. Players must start small by robbing from the slums and upgrade their skills and abilities until they can pull off the ultimate heist in Scotland Yard.

Developer and owner of Size Five Games Dan Marshall says: “The Swindle is the kind of game that I always wanted to play; one minute you’re sneaking past robot security guards to grab a load of loot and the next you’re being chased by police choppers and drones, desperately trying to avoid capture and an awkward-and-embarrassing death. Procedurally generated adventures are all the rage these days – but there’s nothing with stakes quite as high as The Swindle.”

The Swindle will release on Xbox One on July 31st, with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita releases on July 28th. A Wii U version will then appear at a slightly later date.

Whilst we wait, check out the trailer and screens below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
