It’s already been critically acclaimed, but now the development team at Fatshark and the publishers at 505 Games have decided it’s time to push Warhammer: Vermintide 2 even further – with a full retail release on Xbox One and PS4 this June.

Coming to Xbox One and PS4 in the form of a Deluxe Edition is that of Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Launching on June 11th 2019, the multi-million selling game will hit the physical world to deliver the base game along with 2 DLC packs and a wealth of extra content.

Included in this bundle will be both previously released DLCs, “Shadows Over Bögenhafen” and “Back to Ubersreik,” as well as additional premium content including tailored missions (Heroic Deeds), character skins, a portrait frame and the Sigmar Keep Statue.

It’ll come in with a price of ÂŁ39.99/€49.99/$49.99 and should well appeal to not just Warhammer fans, but those who still insist on embracing the physical way of life over the now-standard digital world. If you missed out on Vermintide 2 because of this first time around, you’re now in for a treat.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is an epic four-player co-op first person action game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world. In this sequel to the critically acclaimed Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, the five heroes have returned to take on an even greater threat during the End Times; the combined forces of the cowardly Skaven army and the barbaric Chaos faction. Vermintide 2 challenges players like never before by expanding the intense first-person combat with a new enemy faction, 15 new career paths, talent trees, new weapons, an improved loot system and more.

If you wish to know more about the game then our full review will be able to sort you out with the finer details. Make sure you hit it up. And don’t forget, you can still grab Warhammer: Vermintide 2 from the Xbox Store is you can’t be done with the faff of a disc!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
