There is no stopping the LEGO Dimensions juggernaut and today Warner Bros have released further details, screenshots and beauty packs for The Simpsons and Midway Arcade gameplay in LEGO Dimensions.
As part of the main game which can be played through the Starter Pack, The Simpsons level brings a cel-shaded art style, for a look that is true to the original, animated series and is completely unique from the other levels within the game.
Facing a pair of unlikely evil masterminds – Lord Business and The Joker – who have joined Lord Vortech’s legion of villains and invaded Springfield, it is up to our heroes to defeat them and restore order in The Simpsons world.
The Simpsons Level Pack includes a LEGO Homer Simpson minifig, with the Simpsons Fun Pack containing a LEGO Bart and LEGO Krusty the Clown figures.
The Midway Arcade Level meanwhile will see those included in the Starter Pack – Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle, race through Super Sprint, smash through hordes in Guantlet, save astronauts in Defender and defeat robots in Robotron. You’ll also be able to get your hands on a LEGO Retro Gamer minifigure and a level with more than 20 arcade games to beat!
Remember, all characters from the expansion packs can be combined with other characters, vehicles and gadgets that exist in Dimensions. The only limit is your imagination…and wallet size!
LEGO Dimensions will release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Wii U on Sept 29th 2015.
