There’s some bad news for console owners who watch Sky through their gaming device…the price is about to go UP!
As of June 29th, Sky will be amending their Sky Go package so that it no longer covers games consoles. If you wish to continue using the service on your 360, then you’ll need to make sure you are signed up to, and paying for, the full Sky Go Extra service which costs an extra £5.
Sky Go Extra gives users the ability to watch Sky TV on up to FOUR devices, whilst the bog standard Go option only allows for two.
Sky Go will be available on PS3 and PS4 later this year which makes us think the next logical step would therefore be the Xbox One.
So messed up
Not good, but not sure if it’s messed up….it’ll just be a matter of time before they start charging for phones and tablets too.
