Wax Museum – out now on Xbox

A storm, a car accident and an abandoned wax museum might sound like three things best avoided on the same night. Unfortunately, that’s exactly where Wax Museum: Hidden Objects begins.

Forced to seek shelter inside the mysterious building, you soon discover that you’re not alone – and getting back out may require uncovering secrets that have been hidden for a very long time.

Available now for £6.99 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Xbox Play Anywhere support, Wax Museum: Hidden Objects comes from developer and publisher Crisp App Studio.

There’s Something Strange About This Museum

The museum might look abandoned at first glance, but it doesn’t take long before things start feeling decidedly wrong. The exhibits have survived years of neglect and vandalism, yet burning torches and other signs of life suggest somebody – or something – is still around. What you can be sure of is that this is no Two Point Museum.

Your job is to search the museum, find clues and piece together what has happened while trying to uncover its darker secrets. Eventually, that investigation leads towards an ancient Evil that needs to be defeated.

More Than Just Finding The Objects

As another hidden object adventure (do we need ANOTHER!?), Wax Museum: Hidden Objects obviously expects players to have a sharp eye. But there’s more here than simply scanning a scene for the item that doesn’t belong.

Puzzles and quests form part of the investigation, while replayable challenges and speed bonuses give you reasons to return and try to improve your performance. The game also uses vibrant scenery, animations and 3D effects to bring its eerie museum setting to life.

Whether you’re here for the mystery or simply enjoy hunting through increasingly detailed scenes for that one elusive object, there’s a creepy little investigation waiting behind those museum doors. Just don’t expect the exhibits to be the only things watching you.

You’ll find the key to Wax Museum: Hidden Objects on the Xbox Store.
