We are big fans of the We Were Here franchise. After first coming to Xbox back in 2019 with the original We Were Here, and then swiftly being followed by We Were Here Too and We Were Here Together, if it’s a puzzling cooperative gaming experience you are after, there is possibly no better series to involve yourself in. And so the news that Total Mayhem Games are sending us off to Castle Rock once more with We Were Here Forever on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC is one that gets us stupidly excited.
We Were Here Forever is the next chapter in the whole We Were Here franchise whisking us off to the Antarctic once more for a complete new cooperative adventure. Coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC towards the end of 2021, the Total Mayhem Team are promising a next level adventure for players to involve themselves in, reworking the interface, the gameplay and providing an even more intriguing and thrilling story set in a lively world.Â
As you would expect to hear, We Were Here Forever will be full to the brim with new cooperative puzzles and challenges, as you and a friend work through them in the hope of answering one of the most important questions in gaming – does one ever, truly, escape Castle Rock?
The series favourite walkie-talkie will be in place, allowing you the chance to describe everything and anything to your cooperative partner. And much like the games that have gone before it, communication will be key in order to find success. In fact, if Forever is anything like the previous games in the series, it will be utterly vital.

One cannot help but wonder what happened to those explorers who got left behind…”
