If you’re after a taxing little cooperative puzzler, then there is possibly no better route to take than that of the We Were Here series. With two games already confusing the Xbox One masses, the next title in the series is fast approaching. And We Were Here Together will be available on Xbox One before you know it.
Coming from Total Mayhem Games, We Were Here Together follows on from launch of We Were Here and We Were Here Too, to provide yet another highly interesting co-op puzzle adventure. It will be launching on June 5th 2020.
Already available on Steam, We Were Here Together delivers new locations, new mechanics and many more hours of hardcore cooperative puzzle solving. It is in fact that cooperative mechanic which comes to the fore with this puzzle series, and without a partner in tow, you’ll be left wanting.
Available from the Xbox Store to pre-order for £9.66, We Were Here Together will have you chatting, exploring and solving the biggest of tests with your only true friends alongside you, with each puzzle providing individual players with information and leaving you to talk things through with your friend. Basically put, if you see something, describe it – in the minutest detail.
We Were Here Together is the third entry in the We Were Here series and this one features new gameplay mechanics, locations, and puzzles. For the first time, players will be able to explore the Antarctic outdoors – starting from a cozy expedition base camp complete with roaring fire, before continuing to frozen caves and valleys, and finally returning to the sinister Castle Rock.
Other new features include collecting an inventory of items to help tackle puzzles, new immersive cutscenes, and exploring some locations side by side for the first time in the series. Yep, where you would normally partake in We Were Here apart from your friend, with this one you are brought together like never before.

Embark on a puzzle solving adventure in which you and a partner must prove you can communicate and work together to escape the haunted Castle Rock. It all begins with an emergency flare lighting up the sky and a distress call waking you from uneasy dreams. Your fellow Antarctic explorers are in trouble, and the two of you left at base camp must work together to launch a rescue mission. If only you knew what you were getting into… From the research base camp you’ll need to figure out a way to get to the source of the distress flare. Once you’re through the frozen Antarctic wastes, you’ll find yourselves separated inside a medieval castle, facing puzzles, secrets, and dangers!
