Planet Coaster 2 Sorcery Pack
Planet Coaster 2 Sorcery Pack – out today

Dust off your spellbooks and prepare to enchant your guests, because a touch of arcane magic has descended upon Planet Coaster 2 – the Sorcery Pack.

Frontier Developments today releases the Sorcery Pack, a spellbinding new premium DLC that allows park builders to create the magical theme park of their dreams.

Available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this fantastical new pack arrives alongside the significant free Update 7, which introduces a brand-new Challenge Mode and more creative options for all players.

Craft a Fantastical Kingdom

Priced around £9.99, the Planet Coaster 2: Sorcery Pack is a treasure trove of mystical items, perfect for building a realm steeped in magic and mystery.

The heart of this pack lies in the hundreds of new scenery pieces. You can now construct magnificent castles with towering spires and arched buttresses, create candlelit courtyards adorned with gargoyle statues, and add atmosphere with bubbling cauldrons and glowing sigils.

To bring your new magical land to life, a brand-new entertainer, Vesper, will now explore the winding alleys of your park, delighting guests.

New VFX and SFX options are also included to add that final layer of immersion.

Five Enchanting New Rides

Five incredible new rides arrive with this pack, each ready to be customized with the new sorcery theming or any existing theme from your collection:

  • The OUTMAX – LSM Raid Coaster: A high-tech coaster featuring quick switch tracks and thrilling swing launches.
  • The OUTAMAX – Bike and Sidecar: A sleek steel coaster powered by explosive acceleration for a truly white-knuckle ride.
  • VECTOR – Child Coaster: A gentle yet exciting adventure perfect for all (m)ages.
  • FLYING THEATRE: An awe-inspiring immersive simulation experience where every twist and dive feels as if you’re truly soaring through the air.
  • GALE FORCE: A dizzying pendulum flat ride that will have your guests feeling every tilt and turn.

Free Magic for All in Update 7

Even if you don’t purchase the Sorcery Pack, a major free update is rolling out for all Planet Coaster 2 players today, bringing some highly requested features:

  • New Challenge Mode: Put your park management and creation skills to the ultimate test in this brand-new game mode.
  • More Creative Freedom: The update adds powerful new creative options, including the ability to rotate grid-based buildings on all three axes, providing unprecedented control over your designs.
  • Path Customisation: Enjoy new options for customizing the paths in your park, allowing for even more detailed and unique layouts.

Another Magical Step for a Winning Formula

This dual release of paid and free content continues Frontier’s excellent support for their premier theme park simulation. It follows in the footsteps of previous drops like the Thrill Seekers Ride Pack, offering both premium themed content and significant free upgrades for the whole community.

In our 4/5 review of the base game, we praised it as a worthy follow-up, stating: “Planet Coaster 2 is a worthy follow-up and another fab continuation of the wider ‘Planet’ franchise… there can be no doubt that Frontier Developments remain the standard bearers for simulation management games on consoles.

The Sorcery Pack is further proof that the franchise has plenty of ideas left, taking the creative toolset into entirely new and fantastical realms.

It’s time to create a park that is truly legendary. Whether you’re building a sky-high wizard’s tower, sending your guests soaring on an enchanted ride, or pushing your management skills to the limit in the new Challenge Mode, this latest update has something for every kind of creator.
