Hey, guess what? The Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 28th June – 4th July 2016 is now live and yet again brings discounts galore to the lives of Xbox One and Xbox 360 players. But which of the games should you be snapping up, and which should you be left leaving well alone? Let us tell you.

Now, if you’re an Xbox 360 player who isn’t interested in Mass Effect, then you’re going to be hugely disappointed with this week’s offerings. Xbox One gamers meanwhile get a bit of a better deal, with a couple of titles available that should be downloaded asap…if only because they are super cheap.

Grab – Commander Cherry for Kinect – 67% off – £2.37

Let me get one thing straight – Commander Cherry for Kinect isn’t the best Xbox One game in the world. It isn’t even the best Kinect title. But what it is, is a super cheap game that is just about worth the current asking price.

A controller/Kinect hybrid, you’ll need to utilise your body to help Commander Cherry overcome numerous obstacles and when combined with the simple joypad controls works well. You may be put off by the poor visuals, or you may be put off by the fact that Kinect is needed, but if you’re prepared to look past both those issues, and fancy checking out a game that requires a little fitness, then go grab it. Our review may also hep you decide!

Grab – Unmechanical: Extended – 67% off – £2.64

If you need a mental challenge than Unmechanical Extended will happily deliver it. When you find that challenge discounted to just a couple of quid, then you really should be getting involved. Unmechanical Extended may come with a few damn annoying bugs, but thankfully they seem to be mostly limited to the ‘Extended’ add-on bits. The original game however works a treat and contains enough content to keep you busy.

Tempter – Titanfall Deluxe Edition – 75% off – £6.00

If you own an Xbox One and are down with the kids, then you probably own an EA Access pass as well. If that’s the case, then you can dismiss the Deluxe Edition of Titanfall straight off the bat. However, if you don’t have a pass, then the measly £6 that Titanfall is currently priced at is far too good to miss.

Yes, there may be a new game on the way, but very rarely do we see a deluxe version of any game come in at such a cheap price. At least have a think about it yeah?

Leave – Dead or Alive 5 Last Round New Costume Pass 2 – 40% off – £36.89

There can be no debating that the Costume Pass 2 for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is full of content. The problem is, is it content that is needed? From where I’m sitting, the answer is a resounding no. In fact, I couldn’t think of any DLC pack that milks a gamer for cash more than a measly costume pack for Dead or Alive 5.

But then hey, I guess it’s not really aimed at me. Is it!

So, that’s it for this week. Not the best of week’s but at least there are a couple of interesting little Xbox One titles to keep you busy. If you want to check out the full deals for the week, then you can find the full Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight sale for this week right here.

As always, if you like the look of the stuff above and decide to grab something, we’d love it if you could tell us what you pick up in the comments below. You may fancy saving even more cash as well, and heading on over to CDKeys and picking up some cheap Xbox Live credit first should be pretty high on your agenda.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
