Which of this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold bargains should you pick up? – 9th January 2018

-

So, Christmas has gone, the new year is well under way and the big Xbox winter sale offering hundreds of games and movies at hugely discounted prices has finally come to an end. What else do we have left to look forward to until the gaming releases get up to speed once more? The Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale of course! With recent weeks looking quite dull however, is this the week to offer something a little more exciting?

Join us as we take a look at the best and worst of the deals on offer between the 9th-15th January 2018.

GrabSave the Ninja Clan – 25% off – $2.99 – US Only

Unfortunately, the best deal you’ll find on offer this week is one that’s limited to those within the US, as Save the Ninja Clan is yet to arrive in other countries. However, if you find yourself with an active Xbox Live Gold membership, live in the US and fancy getting yourself in on an amazing deal, then this is one for you.

Save the Ninja Clan takes players on a speed running adventure to rescue your kidnapped friends from an evil ninja. With gameplay that’s highly reminiscent of the hugely popular Super Meat Boy, and plenty of levels to master, hazards to manoeuvre and bugs and secrets to uncover – all of which will annoy the “Game Manager”, Save the Ninja Clan is a true bargain, and anyone looking for an enjoyable platformer won’t find many better ways to spend their money.

TempterRace Arcade – 25% off – £5.99

It may not be the prettiest game on the market, but Race Arcade is certainly a tempting option at its current price for anyone looking for something a little different to the usual racers out there.

Race Arcade is a top down racer, that brings players onto the grid with tiny cars, across 100 different tracks, in a range of different environments. Whether you’re racing through fields of molten lava, through ice filled roads or putting pedal to the metal in post-apocalyptic cities, Race Arcade is certain to have something to keep you occupied.

Whether you’re looking for a game to fill the void till the years biggest racers drop or you simply want a casual game to play on a rainy day, Race Arcade is certainly one to think about at for just under six quid. It would be nice if it was a bit cheaper though.

LeaveDeer Hunter: Reloaded – 40% off – £9.59

Each week we like to point you in the direction of the biggest and best bargains available in the latest deals, but it wouldn’t feel right leaving you to figure out which of the week’s deals should be left alone completely. This week the game you should be leaving well alone is Deer Hunter: Reloaded.

As one of the games that has seen itself land a place on our worst Xbox One games of 2017 list, there isn’t much we can say that would ever persuade you into buying this poor attempt at a hunting experience. With poor graphics, limited movement, timers and limits found throughout, Deer Hunter: Reloaded is a poor addition to the genre and with a hefty price tag for the content on offer, there is no bargain to be found and no real reason to buy into this one at all… no matter what price is attached.

So, there we have it, another week of Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale discounts and our thoughts on which one’s you should and shouldn’t be adding to your collection. Do you agree with our choices? Let us know in the comments below or via our usual social channels.

Don’t forget, if you’re wishing to save even more cash on your games then we advise you give the team at CDKeys a little nudge. Their cheap Xbox Live Credit will ensure your money goes a bit further.
