State of Decay 2 – 22nd May – Xbox One

Civilisation has fallen, with military personnel unable to halt the rise of the dead; it’s left to you to gather up survivors and help build a community in this post-apocalyptic world full of zombies. Survival is the aim of the game and you’ll need fortify a base of survivors, develop abilities for your character, and manage the available resources to keep everyone happy, all whilst taking care of the dynamic zombie hordes. Every decision matters and consequences could be dire; if someone in the community dies, they’re gone forever. State of Decay 2 also allows you to work with up to three friends in online co-op, which enables you to maintain leadership of your own communities as you look out for others and share the rewards.

Sudden Strike 4 European Battlefields Edition – 25th May – Xbox One

It’s time to go to war in the RTS strategy offering of Sudden Strike 4, which is set during World War II and provides gameplay with tactical depth. Dark Souls Remastered – 25th May – Xbox One

Gamers can return to the dark and unforgiving fantasy universe of Dark Souls, exploring the intricate, lore-filled world stricken by the Curse once again. Tackle dungeons, traverse the many hidden passages and find out all the secrets held within the ancient land of Lordran. Patience, strategy and the ability to learn are crucial in overcoming the overwhelming foes, but the sense of achievement in doing so is immensely satisfying. In the Remastered version, you’ll get to experience Dark Souls like never before in upscaled 4K resolution with 60FPS and be able to involve yourself with the online covenants alongside six other players – whether you aid or hinder them is up to you.
