This week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale is full of bargains for both Xbox Live Gold members and indeed those with a Silver subscription. But which are the ones you should be making a bee-line for?
In our opinion, there are four titles that standout above and beyond any other in the current sale…
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition – Xbox One – Currently reduced to £10.56
You can currently get hold of Tomb Raider on Xbox 360 for absolutely nothing. Thanks to the Xbox Games With Gold scheme, Xbox 360 owners have a free download waiting for them but that doesn’t in any way help One players. The reduction in price to £10.56 for the Definitive Edition of Tomb Raider on Xbox One does however represent superb value and so if you don’t have access to Lara’s latest adventure on 360, then you really should be getting involved at this price.
It’s Lara in full HD. What’s not to like?
Assassin’s Creed III – Xbox 360 – Currently reduced to £4.49
A couple of weeks back we told you to buy the discounted Assassin’s Creed II. This time round, we’re pointing you in the direction of AC III.
The natural progression means that Ezio may have been and gone, but with ACIII you’ll get the opportunity to visit some of the American Revolution with a new protagonist, Connor!
It’s just as good as its predecessors and is something big enough to waste many many hours on.
Gears of War 2 – Xbox 360 – Currently reduced to £3.74
It’s hard to believe that Gears of War 2 is seven years old and I guess the price kind of reflects that. It is however still a superb game and something that each and every Xbox gamer should play through at least once.
Do you have what it takes to help Marcus Fenix and the rest of Alpha Squad defeat the Locust horde? There’s only one way to find out…buy it for £3.74 right now.
There aren’t many games that are rated at 94/100 on Metacritic around for that price.
Joe Danger 2: The Movie – Xbox 360 – Currently reduced to £2.49
I’m throwing this one out there just because the price is super tempting. For a penny less than £2.50 you’ll be finding yourself with a few hours of joyful bike riding as you help Joe Danger complete the numerous stunt filled courses in front of him in record time.
It may not be the greatest game in the world, but for the measly price, the bright, colourful humorous nature should get you a few hours of decent entertainment.
