Which of this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold bargains should you pick up? – 15th-21st May 2018

-

May is a rather slow month in terms of big new releases, giving you time to catch up on the backlog or purchase games that are in the sale. Fortunately, Xbox have a sale every week for games and add-ons on Xbox One and Xbox 360, but not all of these deals are worth your cash. That’s where we come in, so let’s take a look at the best and worst offers from the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 15th-21st May 2018.

Grab – The BioWare Bundle – 67% off – £18.15

If you’re a regular reader of ours, you probably expect us to bang on about prospect of subscribing to EA Access to get involved with the two titles featured in this bundle – Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age: Inquisition. But that’s not happening here.

Not only are you getting the chance to find a new home for humanity in Andromeda, or become the Inquisitor to lead a team on a perilous journey, but The BioWare Bundle includes a ton of downloadable content to enhance both experiences. The Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe Recruit Edition ensures you’re well equipped for the multiplayer aspect, whilst the Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY Edition features content add-ons such as Jaws of Hakkon and The Descent, plus much more.

It’s a smashing bundle that enables you to own these two great games at a cut price, saving over £35 compared to the regular cost. There are hours and hours of gameplay to be had, so why don’t you get stuck in today?

Grab – Bleed Complete Bundle – 75% off – £5.60

Chances are that if either of the Bleed games were available to purchase at just over a fiver, we’d be suggesting you splash the cash. Naturally, with both BLEED and BLEED 2 in one bundle on offer for such a low price, you’d be crazy not to buy it if you have even a slight interest in platformers.

Running and gunning is the order of the day for these action-platformers, which aim to provide a challenging affair as pink-haired protagonist Wryn attempts to defeat a relentless barrage of baddies and overly tough bosses. BLEED       2 takes everything great about its predecessor and builds upon it, bringing even more replay value with an Endless mode and squeezing oodles of fun out of the content it does have.

If you think you can handle the fast pace of these running and gunning platformers, jump over to the Microsoft Store swiftly and add these to your gaming library.

Leave – WWE 2K18 Digital Deluxe Edition – 50% off – £40.00

Despite being the official game of the biggest wrestling brand out there and having its price slashed in half, the super duper Digital Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K18 is one to stay away from. And that’s coming from a long time WWE fan.

Sure, WWE 2K18 features a massive roster of characters to use, ensuring most, if not all, of your favourites past and present are available to choose from, but the game itself is mess. Technical issues are rife throughout matches and even during backstage goings on, turning any potential joy into pure frustration. The few decent new additions and tweaks are counteracted by a truly boring career mode and an online side which just seems utterly pointless.

You’d be better off putting the money in the toilet and flushing it away – not that we’d recommended doing that either!

So, that’s it for another week and we hope that helps you figure out which are the real bargains in the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 15th-21st May 2018. Don’t forget, if you wish to save a bit more money in the process, then make sure you head to CDKeys and grab some of their cheap Xbox Live Credit.
