Another week down and the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale is back again with new bargains for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. Many of us can’t afford to purchase all the games in the sale so which would we recommend you grab this week?
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition – Currently reduced to £16.00/$24.00 on Xbox One with the standard edition currently £3.74/$4.99 on Xbox 360.
You may have already played Sleeping Dogs on Xbox 360. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be playing it again on Xbox One.
Because with the Definitive Edition you’ll be getting a glimpse of new improved visuals, going hands on with new gameplay mechanics and listening in to a rebuilt sound engine to heighten that realism. You’ll also be treated to all the DLC packs that originally dropped on Xbox 360.
It’s the best way to experience the story of undercover cop Wei Shen and will keep you going for hours on end!
Of course, if you’re one of those who hasn’t already checked out the going-ons in Hong Kong, and you’re gaming on the 360, why not pick that version up as well?
Assassin’s Creed II – Currently reduced to £4.49/$9.99
You may ask why I’m pointing you in the direction of ACII and not the more recent, and pretty well acclaimed Black Flag? Well, simple really. If you’re buying on digital (which you are), Black Flag has been available in various places for less than half the current sale deal.
Additionally, ACII is a tremendous title and something everyone should play. After the disappointing original Assassins Creed, II is in fact the game that really helped kick the series into the stratospheric franchise it is today and gave us the first chance to experience the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze!
For the price, Aassassin’s Creed II is the best purchase for Xbox 360 owners this week.
