Which of this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold bargains should you pick up? – 8th Mar 2016

Are you looking to pick up a new Xbox One or Xbox 360 game via the latest Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight sale but don’t know which to grab? There are a fair few discounts in place this week so let us go deep and let you know which are the best and the worst offers on the table.

In fact, this week’s Deals With Gold sale brings in a number of titles that rarely feature in the weekly sale. There is no GTA V or NBA bling here and so many titles could well appeal – at least if the price is right – and that is the case with a couple of them at the very least.

Grab – Life is Strange Complete Season (Episodes 1-5) – 50% off – £8.00

It is nothing short of an utter bargain. £8 for the full season of Life Is Strange, one of the most talked about and acclaimed games from last year, should ensure that anyone who hasn’t yet picked it up should be doing so right away. You’re unlikely to see any game give so much quality of content for such a small price point and the complete season of Life Is Strange is currently at must buy levels.

Get to it! NOW!

Grab – Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart – 33% off – £5.35

Despite it’s horrific title, Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart brings a fairly relaxing, rather deep puzzling affair that the vast majority of Xbox One owners will enjoy. Even if you’re not a full on puzzle fiend, the £5.35 that it is currently priced at most definitely throws it into the tempting category and should be checked out rather soonish.

It brings a completely different affair to those fast paced games that we know and love on Xbox One and so the chance to pick it up rather cheaply shouldn’t be ignored.

Leave – Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 – 50% off – £25.00 on Xbox One or £13.39 on Xbox 360

If you only listen to us once this year, listen to us right now.

Do not buy Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 for £25.00. In fact, don’t buy it at any price northwards of a fiver. Widely criticised when it first released, Pro Skater 5 is by far the lowest point in the Tony Hawks series and only a fool would be spending any form of cash on it. At least their own cash.

Unfortunately, the only way we can really recommend buying it is when it is arriving for free as an Xbox Games With Gold title and even then the 360 version will probably be far too highly priced to consider.

If you need a wider range of titles to grab, then you can find the full Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale right here. If you like what you see and want to save even more money, then head over to CDKeys and pick yourself up some super cheap Xbox Live credit.

Don’t forget to let us know what you pick up in the comments below. We’d love to hear from you.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
