Hold on to your hats – The Crew 2 is here!
Ubisoft are back with another huge open world racer in which we get to take on every single aspect of the American motorsports scene, dominating the roads, controling the skies and governing the seas with a wide range of vehicles present.
In fact, you can expect to find everything from the most exotic of cars, the fastest of bikes, the most intense planes and the biggest of boats, as we get the chance to compete across the entire USA in a range of disciplines all put into place in order to test our skills.
And whilst the original The Crew failed to excite many in the way that Ubisoft hoped (although if we’re honest, it got a ton better once a few patches dropped), The Crew 2 looks to be an altogether different beast – especially if you can grab a few mates to experience the online opportunities with you.
Available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, there are three different versions available for download. The Xbox Store will happily give up the Standard Edition for £54.99, the Deluxe Edition that comes complete with a couple of extra vehicles for £62.99 and the Gold Edition allowing early access and the inclusion of the Season Pass. If you’d prefer to purchase that Season Pass at a later date then you are looking at a £29.99 purchase. It does bring a lot though – 3 exclusive vehicles, 22 more in Early Access, 1 nice new house, 2 outfits, a 20% discount on in-game items and much more.
Keep an eye out for our full review coming soon, but should you be in the market for a huge open world racer, then you may well struggle to find much better than what Ubisoft have created in The Crew 2.
