Are you looking to embark on a brand new puzzling adventure, one in which you’ll be found rediscovering gravity, witnessing infinity and exploring the most impossible geometry? Manifold Gravity on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch is the game for you.

Available to purchase and download right this minute, Manifold Garden has been created by William Chyr Studio to test the mind of gamers like never before, thrusting players out into a weird Escher-esque world like in The Bridge; a game that is utterly full of impossible architecture.

Previously available on Apple Arcade and PC via the Epic Games Store, Manifold Garden rocks up onto console with the same intentions in mind – to mess with what gamers thought they knew about the world, reimagining physics and space as they go about trying to cultivate a garden to open new paths forward. It is there where an eternal expanse awaits.

Priced at £16.74, Manifold Garden promises to deliver a world that is not just expansive, but visually impressive from all angles, as you attempt to work with gravity in order to understand multiple perspectives and to solve some strange mind-bending puzzles. With a Photo Mode thrown in with the console launch – and available as an update to those who have it on the previous formats – this Escher inspired experience seems to have it all from the get go.

Key features include:

  • An expansive and visually striking world filled with mind-bending puzzles.
  • Manipulate gravity to gain new perspectives and walk on any visible surface.
  • Experience space in new ways as you explore infinitely repeating Escher-esque architecture.
  • The all new Photo Mode — available now for console launch and as an update to the Epic Game Store and Apple Arcade releases.

But there’s more and attached to the Xbox version of Manifold Garden comes unlockable wallpapers that are linked to earning various achievements in game. And yep, they promise to be a great addition.

Our full review of Manifold Garden on Xbox One should be coming your way in the days ahead so please keep an eye out for it. In the meantime though the usual digital stores will sort you out for a download on Xbox One, PS4 or Nintendo Switch. And if you prefer the Steam way of life, you’ll be sorted with that later in the year.

Game Description:

Manifold Garden is a game that reimagines the laws of physics. Rediscover gravity and explore a beautiful Escher-esque world of impossible architecture. Geometry repeats infinitely in every direction, and falling down leads you back to where you started. Manipulate gravity to change your perspective and see the world in new ways. Master the rules of the universe and restore a barren world with vegetation and life. Manifold Garden has been nominated for several awards, including “Best Debut” from the Game Developers Choice Awards and the BAFTA Awards. It was selected as one of the New Yorker’s best games of 2019.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
