Claim the Forest
Claim the Forest – out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

A new puzzle game that challenges you to create harmony between two very unusual rival clans has just arrived on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. But can you Claim the Forest?

Claim the Forest, the latest brain-bender from the incredibly prolific developer and publisher Afil Games, has launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, and PC, with prices starting at just ÂŁ4.19.

A Puzzle of Harmony

Prepare to organise pieces, use the terrain as a natural barrier, and fill the board without letting the rivalry between brave wolves and calm capybaras disturb the peace.

In Claim the Forest, you enter a magical clearing where your challenge is to organise the pieces of two competing animal clans, along with logs, stones, and bushes, to perfectly fill the board. The catch? The brave wolves and the calm capybaras do not get along.

Don’t Disturb the Harmony

This is a spatial puzzle where every piece matters. You’ll need to rotate and place a variety of uniquely shaped pieces to fill the board, but you must be careful. If a wolf piece ends up next to a capybara piece, a fight will occur, and your last move will be undone.

This is where the strategy comes in, as you’ll need to use terrain pieces like logs and stones as natural barriers to create the perfect balance.

The game features 30 levels that will take you from cozy tutorials to truly challenging puzzles. For completionists, there are also extra goals on each stage, such as using more capybara pieces than wolf pieces, which will grant you special stars.

A Familiar Conflict

For puzzle fans looking for a great value deal, the Claim the Forest / Legends Aligned: Minis in Conflict (Bundle) is available for ÂŁ9.99. This combines all three versions of Claim the Forest with all the versions of another Afil Games organising puzzler.

We’re familiar with that title’s tricky nature. In our 3/5 review of Legends Aligned: Minis in Conflict, we said it “brings warring factions to the table for a tricky organising puzzler… The challenge that the conflict idea poses is appreciated though“.

This bundle is a perfect opportunity to grab two clever, conflict-based puzzle games at once.
