World of Tanks Winter Fest

World of Tanks Modern Armor players on PlayStation and Xbox are about to unwrap a towering stack of winter surprises, as Winter Fest 2025 rolls in.

Working from December 9, 2025 to January 5, 2026, this one comes following last week’s PC-focused Holiday Ops 2026 event, as the console-exclusive celebration cranks up the frost, fun and firepower with new modes, collectible rewards, Premium tanks and plenty of holiday mischief.

Winter Fest 2025 At A Glance

  • Runs December 9, 2025 to January 5, 2026
  • PlayStation and Xbox exclusive seasonal event
  • Daily freebies through the Winter Calendar
  • Toy Tanks Mode returns for two full weeks
  • New PvE adventure – The Ice Queen’s Blade – arrives December 23
  • Four new thematic Premium tanks debut
  • New 3D Commanders including Jack Frost, Ro-Burt and more
  • Snowballs become the seasonal currency for tanks, cosmetics and skins

Toy Tanks Mode Steals The Spotlight

The festivities kick off with the much-loved Toy Tanks Mode, throwing two teams of ten into frantic, respawn-friendly battles beneath a giant Yule tree. These tiny terrors each come with unique weapon sets and playful designs, including the standout new addition – the Plow Master, a toy tank fitted with a dozer blade built for satisfying ramming attacks.

Each team also gains support from a towering toy robot. This festive metal giant unleashes powerful support strikes, turning the tide mid-match if used carefully. But there’s a twist – take down the enemy robot and it drops Snowballs, the limited-time currency used across Winter Fest 2025.

By strong community demand, Toy Tanks has been expanded to run for two full weeks, giving players more time to master the mode’s chaotic charm.

The Ice Queen Returns With A New Enemy

When December 23 arrives, Winter Fest changes gear with The Ice Queen’s Blade, a new cooperative PvE mode set after last year’s frosty showdown. Santa may have imprisoned the Ice Queen, but her influence has not fully melted – she has summoned Krampus, a portal-hopping enforcer with plans to plunge familiar maps into an endless winter.

Portals, Shards And A Frostbite Finale

Further, players team up with newcomer Jack Frost, hopping between maps using Krampus’ unstable portals. Across each battlefield, squads clear waves of minions, collect shards and gradually uncover the path to Frostbite Castle, where Krampus awaits in a multi-stage, high-pressure encounter.

Holiday Hardware – Four New Premium Tanks

Winter Fest 2025 introduces four distinct Premium tanks, each with its own flavour, theme and battlefield role:

  • Frostwarden – A sleek, fast Tier X medium tank crafted by Jack Frost.
  • Dual Battery – A dual-gun medium tank inspired by Commander Ro-Burt and built for adaptability.
  • Moldmaster Mk. 1 – A toy-themed tank destroyer with multiple turrets and strong versatility.
  • Winter Warrior – A hardy medium tank equipped with ERA armor to resist autocannon and ATGM assaults.

A Full Cast Of Festive Commanders

No winter celebration is complete without a memorable crew lineup, and this year brings several new faces:

  • Jack Frost – arriving in both standard and Ultimate versions, the latter available only via Jack Frost War Chests.
  • Pfc. PVC – the plastic recruit with attitude.
  • Melty Melvin – an adorable puddle of determination.
  • Ro-Burt – the shiny, dual-gun-themed robot commander.

Fan favourite Krampus also returns, this time with full voiceover for the very first time.

Snowballs Fuel The Holiday Marketplace

Whether you love cosmetics, collectors’ tanks or character unlocks, Snowballs are your ticket. Earned throughout the event from matches, objectives and Toy Tank robot takedowns, Snowballs can be exchanged for:

  • Premium tanks
  • 3D Commanders
  • Holiday skins and cosmetics
  • Seasonal bundles and extras

A Winter Celebration Built For Console Tankers

Winter Fest 2025 is shaping up to be the most ambitious seasonal event yet for World of Tanks Modern Armor, blending whimsy, lore, PvE spectacle and competitive chaos into a packed holiday calendar. With two weeks of Toy Tanks, an all-new PvE questline, fresh commanders and a flurry of unlockables, PlayStation and Xbox tankers are set for an event bursting with variety.
