It doesn’t matter how good a game is, a freebie should never be ignored. And four freebies should be snapped up in an instant. Thankfully, for all Xbox gamers who have a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription to their name, the Xbox Games With Gold scheme has been providing free games for many a month and year. And guess what? As June slowly reaches its conclusion and July 2020 starts to move into view, the Xbox Games With Gold scheme is once more found stripping four great games of their price tags in order to be downloaded for free on Xbox One and Xbox 360 – one of which is brand new to Xbox.

July 2020 is looking like being a decent old month in terms of gaming, and whilst we’re still some way off the biggest releases of the year, if you’re looking to get a few new games added to your digital library then the Xbox Games With Gold titles for July 2020 shouldn’t be missed. For they have been confirmed as the following…

  • WRC 8 – Xbox One – 1st-31st July 2020
  • Dunk Lords – Xbox One – 16th July – 15th August 2020
  • Saints Row 2 – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th July 2020
  • JUJU – Xbox 360 – 16th-31st July 2020

Pushing on through June in which we saw the likes of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, Coffee Talk, Destroy All Humans! and Sine Mora given away for nothing, July’s games are possibly every bit as exciting – particularly to those who have never played the four new freebies previously. Of course though, with this new batch of Games With Gold experiences getting ready to roll out, it means time is fast running out for you to grab June’s games. If you haven’t yet done so, hit the link above and get those free games added to your library.

Once you’ve done so, hit us up in the comments and let us know what you think of the Xbox Games With Gold freebies for July 2020. Are they just the games you want to play? Could they have been better? Does Xbox Game Pass negate all the excitement that Games With Gold used to deliver? Let us know.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
