Well 2K have chucked a curve ball at fans today, announcing the two feuds that’ll take centre stage in the WWE 2K15 mode, 2K Showcase.
When this mode was initially announced there was speculation on whom it would feature as the two chosen feuds. John Cena was guaranteed to be involved in one of these but few would dare to guess it’d be his feud with the now retired CM Punk from 2011 to 2013. After Punk walked out on the WWE, this is a nice surprise for his fans to see him have such a big role in this story mode.
The second one revolves around DX friends who had a bitter rivalry between 2002 and 2004 where they became enemies across some rather emotional battles. This is when Triple H and “HBK” Shawn Michaels fought; you can relive the memories through recreating matches and watching cut scenes that tell the whole store.
Along the way through the 33 total matches initially available, you can even unlock bonus items by completing special objectives. These items could be titles, different attires and even additional WWE Superstars, all to be used in other modes. With more rivalries to come via downloadable content after launch, the speculation can once again begin as to who else could feature in 2K Showcase.
WWE 2K15 is available on 31st October for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
