The roster in WWE 2K25 just got a significant boost with the arrival of the New Wave Pack, the first of five planned downloadable content packs for the critically acclaimed wrestling title.
Available today, this pack brings four of the hottest recent additions to the WWE landscape into the virtual squared circle for the very first time, alongside a tease for a future celebrity guest.
Meet the New Wave of Superstars
The New Wave Pack is set to electrify the WWE Universe, featuring these franchise debutants:
- Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin): One of the world’s most accomplished tag teams, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin quickly captured the WWE Tag Team Championships after their arrival and boast a long list of accolades from other promotions.
- Stephanie Vaquer: The current NXT Women’s Champion and former NXT Women’s North American Champion, Vaquer made history as the only woman to hold both prestigious titles simultaneously.
- Giulia: Making a huge impact since her NXT debut, Giulia impressively won the 2024 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge and went on to capture the NXT Women’s Championship.
Each of these new Superstars comes with their own MyFACTION cards, and the pack also includes a total of more than 40 new moves and taunts to freshen up your in-ring arsenal.
Price, Passes, and a Mystery Celeb
The New Wave Pack is available for individual purchase. However, it’s also included as part of the WWE 2K25 Season Pass (priced around £34.99).
The Season Pass, in turn, is a component of both The Bloodline Edition and Deadman Edition of WWE 2K25, so if you own one of those premium versions, these new Superstars are yours to download.
Intriguingly, the New Wave Pack also grants entitlement for a special celebrity guest character. While their identity is still under wraps, an exciting announcement is promised by WWE soon. Players who purchase this pack or own the Season Pass (or relevant premium editions) will receive this celebrity as a playable character in a future update. We’ll update this piece once that celeb is known!

The release of the New Wave Pack coincides with other content updates for WWE 2K25 players:
- MyFACTION Updates: New content is hitting MyFACTION, including the debut of the popular Demastered card series. Additionally, the iconic Urn foreign object becomes usable for players who purchased the Deadman Edition Bonus Pack, the Deadman Edition, or The Bloodline Edition.
- The Island Chapter 2 (Coming Soon): Exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the next chapter of The Island will be arriving soon. This update will feature 11 new quests, 44 new matches, new unlockable content including Xavier Woods’ alter ego Zero and the ghostly Paul Bearer, plus new branded gear in the shops and a continuation of The Island’s storyline.
