Announced before The Game Awards had even finished, and perhaps a sign Xbox had decided to skip the show and hold their own, the Xbox Developer Direct has finally landed.
It’s become a more and more common approach from Xbox to showcase a handful of games, with behind the scenes deep dives presented by the devs themselves. These shows strip away the glam and glitz, as well as awkward attempts at humour from the hosts.
You know what that means, the team wouldn’t let an event pass by without getting together to have a good old natter about it. So who better to bring you up to speed on all the news and developments than Gareth, Paul and Darren as they return with Episode 223 of TheXboxHub Official Podcast.
The games under the microscope this week are: Forza Horizon 6, Beast of Reincarnation, an unveiling of Fable and the now somewhat traditional surprise reveal, Kiln. The gang pick apart the detail on each game unveiled in the showcase and a clear favourite emerges.
There’s also been a lot happening over at Ubisoft recently, and not a lot of it good. Expect the latest updates, rant and raves from the team, as well as a long term look at the future of Xbox hardware.
