It’s been a deluge of high quality games on Game Pass this month, including Forza Horizon 5, Back 4 Blood and Football Manager 2022: Console Edition. Plus there’s been the dubious pleasures of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition, which hasn’t been wholly ‘Definitive’. But we’re not going to sneer: it has been one of the best Game Pass months in living memory.

Unfortunately, with all the give, there is some take. Today, we are seeing six titles leaving the Xbox Game Pass libraries. They are Final Fantasy VIII HD (Console, PC), Planet Coaster (Cloud, Console), Star Renegades (Cloud, Console and PC), Streets of Rogue (Cloud, Console and PC), The Gardens Between (Cloud, Console and PC) and River City Girls (Cloud, Console and PC).

These are all games that you really should have spent some time with by now, particularly if you have been in the market for a theme park creating fix with Planet Coaster, the fabulous puzzles of The Gardens Between or the fantastic modern-day reboot of a legendary cult franchise in River City Girls – we didn’t give that latter game the big 5/5 for nothing, you know.

All of the above titles are still available within the Xbox Store, so if you made some progress with them or really enjoyed them, then you can still make a purchase. It’s just that you’ll have to open the wallet in order to do so.

In terms of upcoming Game Pass games in November, we’re still awaiting official announcements from Xbox. You can be sure that we will be getting Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition, UnDungeon and Evil Genius 2: World Domination, however.

Are you going to be missing any of these games in particular? Let us know in the comments below. We’re on the usual social channels too.
