Year 6 of For Honor begins with new content

For Honor Year 6 Xbox

You’ve gotta hand it to Ubisoft, they do know how to make a game last. Between For Honor and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, those loyal and dedicated fan bases are truly getting the most out of those titles. For Honor is just about to celebrate its’ sixth birthday, and that brings with it a host of new goodies. Let’s see what they’ve brought out.

First up is the Warden Hero Skin, a full body outfit of Lord Ramiel, the First Warden. This can be found on the Xbox Store for £9.59, but does come with some extras. As well as the outfit, this DLC comes with 7-day Champion Status for some extra EXP when on the battlefield and three additional scavenger crates granting even more loot.

Year 6 of For Honor is concerned with the Golden Age; a time where many of the factions lived in harmony together. As well as the new content drops there will be a new seasonal event – The Oath of Wyverndale – granting unique weapons and outfits. During this event, take on the might of Lord Ramiel himself.

Year 6 also brings crossplay functionality to For Honor too. Released in two stages, this first stage unifies the player pool. The second stage will allow you to group up with friends on different consoles and PC.

Then there is the latest Battle Pass, which once again comes in two flavours. The standard version is priced at £7.99 on the Xbox Store. Split across 100 tiers, it includes items for all 30 heroes including an execution, weapon set, podium, battle outfits and two effects each. Plus, 10% bonus in battle points for completed matches and even more benefits.

Finally, the Year 6 Season 1 Battle Bundle is priced at £19.99 on the Xbox Store. As well as all the above mentioned in the Battle Pass, it instantly grants 25 tiers of progression, no matter where you are currently on the tracker.

Whilst the Warden Hero Skin will be on the Xbox Store for the foreseeable future, these two battle passes will only be available until the 14th June 2022. Presumably to then make way for the next battle pass.

For Honor shows no sign of slowing down in 2022 with yet more content already being planned. Are you still playing this online hack and slasher? Let us know in the comments below and we may be tempted to jump back in ourselves.
