Yooka-Laylee gets reworked as the gorgeous Yooka-Replaylee

Remember the hype around the release of Yooka-Laylee back in 2017? Well, it’s safe to say that Playtonic’s bat and lizard duo nailed what was asked of them at that time. But 7 years is a long time in gaming, and so things are being reworked with the upcoming launch of Yooka-Replaylee.

The daring duo of Yooka and Laylee return to PC and console very soon, this time in Yooka-Replaylee. This is Playtonic’s iconic collectathon platformer, but seen in a very different light, with gorgeous new visuals, improved camera and controls, an updated orchestral score, and brand new content. 

Marking the culmination of almost a decade of Playtonic Experience along with an exciting new beginning for our favourite buddy-duo, Yooka-Replaylee is the result of the growth of the company, as they take what they’ve learnt to build on the the original release.
