Memory Lost is on Xbox and PlayStation

Ever been playing a video game, and have come to the realisation that your enemies all have much cooler abilities than you? Well, that won’t ever be the issue in Memory Lost, a brand-new cyberpunk third-person shooter from Magic Hazard and ESDigital Games.

Turns out, when you are a digital entity capable of possessing anyone and anything, you get all the abilities in the world!

Freedom Fighter

In a very 2025 premise, Memory Lost – now available on Xbox and PlayStation, since being available on PC from March – you play as a neural network created by a mega tech corporation.

Submerged into the dystopian metropolis by the name of Detraxis, you’ll fight for your freedom by battling through a number of chaotic firefights, set across cyberpunk-style battlefields.

Multiple Weapons

The main gameplay hook is that, as a digital entity, you can possess enemies to adopt their skills, weapons and abilities as your own. This grants you one of 77 unique weapons that can be used across the game, with five upgrade trees being present to further customise your playstyle.

Constantly switching between foes is the name of the game here, if you wish to stay alive!

Memory Lost Key Features

  • Control and switch between enemies in real time
  • 60 enemy types & 10 powerful bosses, each with unique abilities
  • Five upgrade trees to customize your playstyle
  • Explore a rich cyberpunk world, divided into diverse hubs and levels
  • Engage with unique NPCs and uncover hidden stories — some tragic, some darkly humorous
  • Hack, infiltrate, and outsmart your foes to uncover the truth behind RedSky’s experiments
  • Hand-drawn animated cutscenes bring the world to life

Play Now!

Memory Lost can now be purchased on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC. We can’t wait to provide you a full review of the game on Xbox, but in the meantime you can pick up a copy for yourself via the Xbox Store, where Memory Lost costs £16.74. It’s also on Steam if you prefer.

Memory Lost Description

Welcome to Memory Lost, a thrilling cyberpunk-style third-person shooter with an overhead view. In this exciting game, you will take a deep dive into the depths of Detraxis, a dystopian metropolis full of technological miracles and cruel corporate battles.

You’ll fight for your freedom and destiny as a neural network created by the RedSky Corporation. You will use the unique ability to shift your consciousness into your enemies, capturing their minds and mastering their abilities. This mechanic will allow you to instantly adapt to the situation and surpass the obstacles that will get in the way of your goal.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
