Neckbreak
Neckbreak – cracking them on Xbox

When a city is being overrun by gangs, mafias and crime, it calls for a vigilante to save the day – a vigilante to Neckbreak their foes on Xbox.

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Neckbreak. From the team at MGP Studios, this has been picked up by RedDeerGames for publishing rights, landing on Xbox today for the price of £19.99.

Crack some necks

Land in the world of Neckbreak and you’ll instantly find yourself in for a tough time. This is a world that allows you to create and craft your own narrative, your own story, as you look to take in no less than twelve different endings. Each focuses on you trying to put a stop to the crime-ridden lands you find yourself in, but from there, what plays out is in your hands.

A huge hit of adrenaline is promised in Neckbreak as you head off on a quest of exploration, taking down anything and anyone that moves. Whether that be through the use of guns, of knives or by kicking your opponents in the face, in Neckbreak anything goes.

Consider the hunt for collectibles too, and you can be sure that the adventures found here will never end…

Key features

  • EVERYTHING CAN BE A WEAPON! – Search your surroundings for anything that looks deadly and use it to protect yourself. Throw bottles, knives, or even guns at the enemies. Nothing around you? Take some pills and breach doors to stun opponents, or just disarm them by kicking their faces. They will be pleased to drop a weapon for you then. You should definitely find and lick a frog – you will love it.
  • PLAN YOUR ATTACK – It’s your decision how to enter combat and how to end it. Find your first victim, and go with the flow. Try every possibility and find the best way to get the highest score. Kick an enemy while sliding to pick his weapon mid-air and land a headshot to defeat him. Creativity is the key to success.
  • CREATE YOUR OWN STORY – There are 12 available endings waiting for you to be discovered. Each one takes around 4 hours for hardcore players to complete. The path you choose will never be completely the same next time. Also, check and search for collectibles that are hidden all over the city.

Neckbreak is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with the usual download running via the Xbox Store

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
